The Texas Renaissance Festival (TRF) is one of the nation's largest, most acclaimed renaissance theme parks where the sights, sounds, tastes and beauty of the 16th Century come alive. The festival is held in 54 acre recreated 16th Century English village known as New Market Village. The Village is holding its annual harvest festival honoring the visiting King Henry VIII and his queen, Catherine of Aragon. Step through the gates of the village and live the magic. 27 Stages of Entertainment - Featuring Comedy, Juggling, Swordfighting, Acrobatics, Music, Dancing, and fun. Full Contact Jousting. Over 300 Shoppes - Artists with one-of-a-kind masterpieces Magnificent offerings from the finest craftsmen Exotic Imports from foreign kingdoms. Opening weekend tickets are heavily discounted. Camping available for $20.00 per vehicle.

No outside food, but tailgating is ok.
