Description

This year brings some changes to our annual Pirate event. The event will now go by the original name, The Southern Pirate Festival, brought to you by Port Columbus, The Pirates of the Chattahoochee (the Port Columbus pirate crew) and our partner Pirate groups. We're getting a lot of help this year from our new Pirate partners, the Cursed Few and the Cutthroat Titans. These two crews will be helping us to plan and carry out a bigger and better event, with more appeal to both families and pirates. We're also pleased to announce that Port Columbus and The Southern Pirate Festival will be the location of the annual Dead Buccaneers' Ball, which will take place after the festival closes Saturday Night, inside the museum. Held last year in Valdosta, GA, the Ball is moving to Port Columbus this year, and will offer our pirates here for the weekend a night of great fun (Separate registration required). This is a Halloween costume ball get yer dead, undead, or maimed pirate outfit together and join us!
