A ten-day fun filled event for all members of the family. The festival starts off with a block dance on Friday evening to prepare for the Invasion of the Pirates on Saturday afternoon. Watch as the pirate ship attacks the Village from the St. Lawrence River, as the brave villagers try to stave them off. The air is filled with smoke, sound of musket fire and cannons; eventually the villagers succumb as the pirates invade the town. After the Mayor surrenders the key to the village to the invading marauders, everyone becomes a pirate. Remember to bring your Pirate costume, as you most certainly don t want to stand out and be a prime target for the Pirates to capture!

Pirate Invasion (7th & 14th) led by legendary Pirate Bill Johnston, will be arriving in tall ships to do battle. Cannon and musket fire will rock the Village as the pirates invade Alexandria Bay in an attempt to take over the town. If victorious, Pirate Bill Johnston will receive the key to the village and the merriment will continue!
